Pitch After Dark was born in the shadow of the pandemic shutdown when Pari Dark and Taff Severe started to create music to express their emotions and persevere through chaos. The music is a culmination of emotions regarding feelings of loneliness, isolation, divergency, and the macabre expressed through gothic wave music inspired by dark post punk bands from the 1980s.

Pitch After Dark provides the soundtrack for dancing in the shadows as an emotional outlet. The music combines elements of goth rock, dark post punk, and dark wave. Imagine the vibe of The Sisters of Mercy meets The Cure injected with a dose of modern energy.

Our intent is to create music to serve as a cathartic release and inspire listeners to find their way through dark times. We want to express that no matter how difficult life gets, you can overcome your challenges and keep moving forward through dark times.
